“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.” Alan Watts

Welcome to Attuned Minds Therapy!

Inspiring individuals and couples to discover opportunities for learning, adapting, and embracing change in order to create meaningful relationships and harmonious lives.

Attuned Minds Therapy® provides systemic, relational therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. We are committed to helping our clients work through their current challenges by connecting to themselves and others. This allows them to discover opportunities to create new relationships, new meanings, and new patterns of behavior.

Our practice name is inspired by the idea of attunement. Attunement is the process of responding and connecting with others; it is the process by which we form meaningful relationships. Attunement allows us to feel close, seen, and understood by others. Attunement goes beyond empathy. It is an integrated emotional, mental, and physical sensing of others resulting in the experience of connectedness.

The Attuned Minds Therapy® logo is inspired by the New Zealand Koru design depicting an unfurling tree fern. The Koru represents harmony, tranquility, and positive change. A single Koru with one unfurling fern frond symbolizes new beginnings, while the triple koru with three fronds of our logo represents family and relational connection.

At Attuned Minds Therapy, we believe that effective counseling starts with the relationship between therapist and client. Our practitioners strive to connect and support our clients, first and foremost, through the development of a meaningful therapeutic relationship.

The culture at our practice is grounded in personal growth and well-being. We honor knowledge and proficiency, which informs our endeavor to provide an ethically sound, high standard of treatment. We seek to employ curious, passionate, dedicated, and meticulous professionals to fit with our clientele of creative and resourceful individuals seeking to improve their relationships and lives.
